Seedlip: History and Introduction

Ben Branson founded Seedlip in 2015 out of a desire to resolve a puzzling question: “What to drink if you’re not a drinker?”

Inspired by a book published in England in 1651, The Art of Distillation, Ben began to distill various plants from his garden in a small copper alembic.

This British grower had long wanted to create quality spirits for consumers who prefer to avoid alcoholic drinks, but don't want to give up the sophistication that is associated with them.

His many experiences formed the basis of the world’s first alcohol-free spirits brand.

From its beginnings, Seedlip has been a source of inspiration for barmen and consumers alike thanks to innovative products that open up a wealth of possibilities for alcohol-free cocktails.

Today, Seedlip non-alcoholic spirits are distributed worldwide in the best bars, as well as in over 250 Michelin-starred restaurants.

Crafting Seedlip Drinks

Herbs, spices, peels and barks are carefully selected, in close collaboration with producers and growers, allowing the master distiller to use the best possible base ingredients.

It takes six weeks to make a bottle of Seedlip non-alcoholic spirits. The process includes custom maceration, distillation in copper alembics, blending and filtering.

Seedlip spirits are blended and bottled in England.

108 refers to the number of days that elapse between planting the seeds and harvesting the peas.
