Marqués de Valdueza

Extra virgin olive oil recognized for its complex and intense aroma, which comes from a fusion of fruity and grassy notes in a masterful balance.

Extra virgin olive oil with a great personality, that presents a medium-high intensity, green olive fruitiness and is characterized by its extraordinary aromatic complexity; intense, but at the same time, balanced and elegant.

The complex nose captivates you by the herbaceous notes that remind us of freshly cut grass, olive leaf, wild herbs, tomato plant, and artichoke, accompanied by lighter notes of apple and almond. Aromas that in the mouth fuse perfectly with fruity, eminently green, tones, among which tomato, banana, and apple stand out.

In the mouth this oil offers a smooth attack, a light bitterness, and friendly spiciness that grows progressively, with a clear balance with the fruitiness, which gives us a persistent oil, and a lasting cool, mentholated sensation of exquisite tones that only immediately processed olives harvested at the precise moment can produce.

With an elegant and expressive structure, the aromatic complexity is attained thanks to the perfect combination of the four olive varieties in the blend.

The unique sensations derived from the blend’s Arbequina (25%), Hojiblanca (30%), Morisca (15%), and Picual (30%) varietals are assembled sublimely to reveal the deep secrets that this pure olive juice hides.

Uses

Finishing oil to be used raw, for cold applications on salads, toast, cheese, cold cuts, steamed fish and grilled meats and vegetables. It is also excellent on citrus fruit salads, and raw, steamed, and stir-fried vegetables.
