Italian artichokes

Description

Exclusively harvested in Puglia during the fall, these artichokes are distinguished by their exceptionally tender texture and natural aromatic intensity. Processed fresh within hours of harvesting, they are prepared according to a closely guarded family recipe, now enriched with a Prosecco maceration that brings finesse, freshness, and elegance to the palate. Each step is designed to preserve the integrity of the vegetable and reveal the full complexity of its heart.

Uses

Versatile and refined, these artichokes can be enjoyed as an appetizer or in cooking. Served alone or accompanied by fine charcuterie and cheeses, they also find their place in mixed salads, pasta dishes, risottos, white pizzas, or as an accompaniment to fish and white meats. Their melt-in-the-mouth texture and balanced aromatic profile make them an ingredient of choice for simple but expressive cuisine.

Artisan

Behind this recipe are Nicola and Paola, passionate artisans who are guardians of expertise passed down from generation to generation. Their approach is based on respect for the product, patient work, and mastery of traditional techniques. Each artichoke is handled by hand, carefully peeled, monitored at every stage of cooking, and then refined according to their family recipe. An artisanal vision where precision and time are inseparable from quality.

The De Laurentiis family owns an artisanal business in the Abruzzo mountain region. For two generations, it has been drawing on traditional ingredients and know-how to offer products with an authentically Italian taste. The family grows organic tomatoes, saffron and other seasonings on its own plots of land, and turns them into sauces and condiments thanks to a veritable regiment of cooks who busily tend the ovens.
