Vinegars

Merlot vinegar

A bittersweet vinegar produced from intensely aromatic Merlot wine, with hints of vanilla and liquorice. Very sweet, elegant palate, enriched with toast notes acquired during the 12 months of aging in French oak casks that recall blackberries, raspberries and violets. Great vinegar to elaborate dishes with white meat, poultry, small game, smoked fish and nuts.

Founded in 1908 by Agustin Badia Badia, the company was originally dedicated to making and selling wine. It has changed a lot over five generations: still a family business operated by the Badias, it now specializes in making artisanal vinegars of the finest quality, combining over a century of experience with modern technology.
