Dark chocolate and olive oil fondant

  • 120 g dark chocolate
  • 80 g flour
  • 80 g sugar
  • 50 mL (3 c. à soupe) Favuzzi extra-virgin olive oil
  • 2 eggs

Preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C).
  2. Melt chocolate in a double boiler and set aside.
  3. In a bowl, whip the eggs and sugar using a mixer.
  4. Add the flour and olive oil and blend well with a spatula.
  5. Finally, fold the melted chocolate into the batter.
  6. Pour into four lightly oiled baking pans and cook in the oven for 15-20 minutes, depending on pan size.
  7. Remove from the oven and leave to cool for a few minutes before unmolding.
  8. Serve with diced strawberries.
