Whiskey maple ribs

Named best BBQ sauce at the American Royal contest in Kansas City, this whiskey maple sauce is Rufus Teague’s most popular product. A perfect match for beef, chicken, fish and pork, it is equally delicious with other dishes too. Gluten-free and 100% natural.

- 2.27 kg (5 lb) small back ribs pork
- 105 mL of spicy meat rub Rufus Teague (7 tbsp.)
- 375 ml (1 1/3 cup) whiskey and maple BBQ sauce Rufus Teague
Preparation
- Remove the white membrane on the back of the ribs. Generously rub both sides of the ribs with Rufus Teague spicy meat rub.
- Cover with foil and refrigerate for 2 to 3 hours.
- Preheat oven to 150°C (300°F).
- Place ribs in a roasting pan and cover with foil.
- Put the pan on the oven’s center rack and roast ribs for about 2.5 hours, until meat easily falls off the bone. Take out of oven and remove foil.
- Using a small brush, coat the meat with Rufus Teague Whiskey Maple sauce.
- Raise heat to broil and put roasting pan back into the oven.
- Cook uncovered for about 5 minutes, until meat is browned and sauce is bubbly.
- Serve immediately.
