Whiskey maple ribs

Named best BBQ sauce at the American Royal contest in Kansas City, this whiskey maple sauce is Rufus Teague’s most popular product. A perfect match for beef, chicken, fish and pork, it is equally delicious with other dishes too. Gluten-free and 100% natural.

  • 2.27 kg (5 lb) small back ribs pork
  • 105 mL of spicy meat rub Rufus Teague (7 tbsp.)
  • 375 ml (1 1/3 cup)  whiskey and maple BBQ sauce Rufus Teague

Preparation

  1. Remove the white membrane on the back of the ribs. Generously rub both sides of the ribs with Rufus Teague spicy meat rub.
  2. Cover with foil and refrigerate for 2 to 3 hours.
  3. Preheat oven to 150°C (300°F).
  4. Place ribs in a roasting pan and cover with foil.
  5. Put the pan on the oven’s center rack and roast ribs for about 2.5 hours, until meat easily falls off the bone. Take out of oven and remove foil.
  6. Using a small brush, coat the meat with Rufus Teague Whiskey Maple sauce.
  7. Raise heat to broil and put roasting pan back into the oven.
  8. Cook uncovered for about 5 minutes, until meat is browned and sauce is bubbly.
  9. Serve immediately.
