- 1 tin (190 g) Mary Manette wild Nova Scotia herring
- 1 tin (70 g) Mary Manette smoked Canadian mussels
- A few handfuls of thick cut, salted potato chips
- Buttered toast points
- Capers
- Pickled red onions
- A few slices of smoked or candied salmon
- Spicy mayonnaise (3 parts mayonnaise to 1 part Sriracha sauce and a dash of sesame oil)
- Olives
- Pickles
- Pickled beans
- Fried or bacon-wrapped scallops
- Crackers
- Shrimp
- Bottled clams
- Lemon wedges
