Glazed green beans with gorgonzola

Ingredients
- 2 cups fresh green beans trimmed
- 15-30 ml (1-2 tbsp.) Extra virgin olive oil with garlic
- (. 2 tbsp) 30 ml onion jam with toasted garlic Stonewall Kitchen
- 190 ml (3/4 cup) crumbled gorgonzola cheese
- 65 ml (1/4 cup) sliced almonds
Preparation
- Bring 2 liters of water to the boil in a large pot.
- Add beans and cook for 3 to 5 minutes or until half-cooked.
- Drain and rinse in chilled water to cool.
- Heat garlic olive oil in a large pan.
- Add beans and sauté for 3 to 5 minutes, stirring to cook on all sides.
- Add 2 tablespoons of garlic and onion jam.
- Stir well for approximately 3 minutes.
- Jam will melt down, bubble and completely coat the beans.
- Place beans on a large serving plate.
- Garnish with a generous amount of crumbled gorgonzola and sliced almonds.
